Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They make the Site work, remember your choices, and (with your consent) measure how it is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.

How we group them

We group cookies into four categories. You can change your choice any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

1. Essential (always on)

Required for the store to function. Blocking them breaks the cart and checkout.

• woocommerce_items_in_cart — remembers your cart. Session / up to 30 days.
• wp_woocommerce_session_* — ties your cart to you while browsing. Session.
• wordpress_logged_in_* — recognises you when signed in. Session.
• cookie_consent_v2 — stores your cookie choice on this device. 1 year.

2. Preference (optional)

Remember small choices that make the Site more useful.

• store_currency — your preferred currency display. 30 days.

3. Analytics (optional)

Help us understand usage so we can improve the Site.

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4, anonymised (IP truncation on), random identifiers, no join to personal data on our side. Up to 14 months.

4. Marketing (optional)

We do not run third-party advertising cookies on the Site. If you subscribe to the newsletter, Brevo may set cookies recording which emails you open or click, used only to improve the newsletter — never shared with advertisers.

Consent Mode v2

We use Google’s Consent Mode v2. The Site sets default denied for analytics_storage and ad_user_data, then upgrades those signals to granted only when you accept the optional categories. No analytics data is collected until you say yes.

How to manage cookies

• Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time.
• Or block or delete cookies in your browser — note that blocking essential cookies breaks parts of the Site.
• Browser “private mode” keeps cookies only for the session.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by services we rely on; those are governed by the third party’s policy:

• Stripe — payments.
• Brevo — email.
• Google Analytics — analytics.

Do Not Track

Our analytics honours the browser “Do Not Track” signal and treats it as declining analytics cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date always reflects the latest change.
